Tickets for Seussical Jr.!

We are so excited for Muskegon Civic Theatre's upcoming season!

What are even more thrilled that MCT has graciously donated five free tickets to give away to HPL patrons for their upcoming production of Seussical Jr.!

Each ticket is god for two (2) HPL patrons.

*Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the HPL service desk on the main level.

Be sure to have your HPL library card available when inquiring to pick up a free ticket.

These free tickets are good for the Seussical Jr. production on Thursday, September 8 at 7:30pm at the Frauenthal Theater (ticket holders are asked to arrive at 7:00pm). 

Crafty Afternoon TODAY!

 We hope to see you this afternoon (Wednesday, August 17) from 2-3:30pm for our Crafty Afternoon!

This afternoon’s craft will have a ‘Wave’ theme, where we’ll make waves in a bottle and and waves on a frame! Great fun for kids, teens, and families.

John Ball Zoo will be visiting, and will bring a few special friends for us to meet. 

We'll get to learn about the animals, how the zoo cares for them, and what their natural habitats are like. Free to enjoy!

 Experience an evening of traditional Mariachi music and stories with the amazing Gabriel Estrada! 

As Gabriel shares his talent in this beautiful musical tradition, which expresses many cultural influences, he will also showcase a bit of Mariachi history.

John Ball Zoo is coming to HPL!

John Ball Zoo is coming to Hackley Library with a few special friends!

We’ll learn all about these animals, including what they eat, how the zoo takes care of them, and what kind of habitats they come from.

All ages are welcome!  Free.

Come to Hackley Library for Story Time this morning at 10:30am!

The grass in Hackley Park is wet due to the sprinklers, so we'll enjoy songs, stories, and movement activities inside HPL in the Youth Services department.

Join us at Hackley Library at 2pm TODAY (Wednesday, July 13) for a lesson from artist Corinne Roberts, as we learn the basic steps on drawing figures and exaggerated movements.

No drawing experience needed!
