MINECRAFT AT THE LIBRARY 2:00 PM, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2015 Join us in the Hackley Public Library basement meeting rooms for our entry into the world of Minecraft, a cool kid's world, using building skills to create your own world. This will be a great time to meet other kids in the area who love Minecraft too. Beginners are welcome. This program is appropriate for children age 6 - 12. Seating is limited to 20! Black History Trivia Contest 6:00 pm, Tuesday, February 10 So you think you know your Black History? Form a group with your friends (up to 4 per team, 6 teams total) and pit your knowledge against other teams. Call Hackley Public Library at 231-722-7276 to register your team. Pick up a Bibliography of Black History Resources to give you ideas of where you can brush up on your Black History facts. On February 10, at 6 pm come to Hackley Public Library to see the contest, with special Guest MC Jon Covington of 103.7 The Beat. Teams will be asked questions on Black History. We'll have prizes for First, Second, and Third place teams, as well as some consolation prizes. Cheer on your friends and family!
