MONTHLY MAKERS - SQUISHY CIRCUITS 2:00 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28 Get hands on with electricity! Make circuits out of battery packs, LEDs, and balls of Playdoh. Ready to try something more advanced? Design your own Playdoh animals with light-up eyes!

Humans vs Zombies 8:00 pm, Monday, October 30 Humans vs. Zombies is a game of tag played at schools, camps, neighborhoods, libraries, and conventions around the world.  Human players must remain vigilant and defend themselves with socks and dart blasters to avoid being tagged by a growing zombie horde. We will meet in the lower level meeting rooms beginning at 7:30 pm to go over the rules and pick the Original Zombie.  The Library will be locked up at 8:00 pm, and the game will start shortly afterwards.   Bring a bandana and either a foam dart blaster or sock (the dart blaster must look like a toy-no realistic looking weapons will be allowed). The game will run about 90 minutes.  Participants must be at least 16 years old.  Attendance limited to the first 75 people.  Check our HVZ website http://hvzsource.com/hackleypl/ for more information and to pre-register (does not necessarily save a spot in the game.) Intro to Computers:  Intro to computers will offer an introduction to what a computer is and how to use it.  It is designed for beginners with little or no knowledge of computers.  Topics covered will include an explanation of Windows and files, how to turn on a computer, and how to use the mouse.

NERF! 11:00 SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4 Back by popular demand! Players will run, dodge, and dive as they try to outwit and out-blast the competition during NERF Mobile Games! Weather permitting this event will take place on the lawn of Hackley Administraton Building. In case of rain, NERF will take place at Hackley Public Library, upstairs in the Youth Services Department.

Hackley Craft Club 6:00 pm, Monday, November 6 Join the fun!  Our craft club meets the first Monday of each month.  This month learn arm knitting.  Participants will be able to request the crafts that will be offered during the year.  Led by Nancy Hartman. Movies @ the Library-Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 5:30 pm, Tuesday November 7 Come to the library to see movies on the first Tuesday of the month.  Bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.  This month we'll screen Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them (In 1926 Newt Scamander just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident, were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt's fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.)  The movie runs 133 minutes.   Brought to you through the generosity of the Friends of Hackley Library.
