HOLY TRINITY CHURCH INSPIRATION CHOIR AND VICTORY IN PRAISE CHOIRJANUARY 30, TUESDAY, 6:00Come out to hear some of the best Inspirational/Gospel singing along the Lakeshore. The Holy Trinity Choir, led by Michelle Harris, will grace the Hackley Library stage. Joining them on the program will be Brandon Davis and the Victory in Praise Choir, a community choir comprised of Christians from various denominations from the greater West Michigan area. GIRLS WHO CODEFEBRUARY 5, MONDAY, 5:30-6:30Hackley Public Library is excited to launch a coding club just for girls! We are an official host site for the international Girls Who Code organization. The club is open to students grade 6 and up. In the club, girls will master the basics of coding like loops, variables, functions, and conditionals to name a few.We will meet every Monday evening starting in January through the end of May.Registration is required. This is always a fun event and a chance to get yourself some new bling! Donations of costume, vintage or other jewelry accepted at the Hackley Public Library any time. We also other "sparkly" things such as scarves, purses and hats. All the money raised goes to support adult and childrens programs at HPL. |
