Alexandria Link

When I'm traveling long distances in the car, I like to listen to audio books.  They really make the miles zip by.  On a recent trip from Michigan to Rhode Island and back we listened to The Alexandria Link by Steve Berry.  It turns out it was the sequel to the Templar Legacy, which we hadn't read.  There were a few spots where it would have been nice to have known the back story,  but on the whole it can be read without reading  the first book.

We enjoyed the many plot twists and the fast pace.  One of the characters was a bit annonying...she kept  trying to "help" with the professional, retired spy, Cotton Malone, which always but everyone else in danger...but she eventually learned her lesson and became a help rather than a hinderance.  For a retired spy, Cotton Malone is pretty busy.  There are 6 books in the series now.
