Kids.gov Launches YouTube Channel: "If you have a few minutes during your day, I encourage you to check out the brand new Kids.gov YouTube channel. The channel highlights great videos for kids about all kinds of government information.
Your kids can learn about how kites are made and watch them fly at the Kite Festival or discover different cultures at Smithsonian's Folklife Festival.
If you're a teacher and want to use these videos in your classroom, but don't have access to YouTube, you can find the same videos on our TeacherTube channel.
Check back often as more and more videos are added to the channel. We've got a fun one in the works now that we'll be posting in the next few weeks. I'll give you a little hint, it involves the National Zoo.
We'd love to get your feedback on the videos. Do you like them, are they helpful to you and your kids, and what other kinds of videos would you like to see from Kids.gov? We're open to all of your suggestions. "
