Warrior Prophet by R. Scott Bakker: Interesting and does not follow the beaten path of Sci-Fi.
The White Garden by Stephanie Barron: A very interesting novel about Virginia Woolf. Well written and fast-paced. It takes placein this time period and revolves around the "suicide" of Virginia Woolf and the mysterious intriguing times in which she lived. Good summer read.
True Confessions of a Heartless Girl by Martha Brooks: I liked how it ended but I didn't likethe fact that Noreen lost baby "Star."
Harold Lloyd's World of Comedy by Willam Cahn: What a great guy! Balancedand intelligent and modest! (sic) named Harold and a brother named Gaylord; dad was called "foxy"-how could you not be funny with a family like taht? It is refreshing to hear from the 60's era. Jack Lennon discussing how there is "a momentary obsession with sex" in comedy. Where's the cd of HLWOC?
Still Growing by Kirk Cameron: I am a huge fan of Kirk Cameron! I enjoyed getting to know him thru this book.
Three Little Secrets by Liz Carlyle: I have nver read a book by Liz Carlyle, but I surely will again. Very good book.
A quilter's holiday by Jennifer Chiaverini: Terrific!
$5 Dinner Mom Cookbook by Erin Chase: Author includes tips onsaving coupons/hitting good sales and menu planning. recipes are frugal and healthy. Worth checking out!
Burned by Carol Higgins Clark: This book was exciting book.
Jinxed by Carol Higgins Clark: This book kept me on the edge of my seat, couldn't put it down.
Hitched by Carol Higgins Clark: This book was good mystery happen to do with wedding dresses and got stolen week before the wedding.
Zapped by Carol Higgins Clark: This book was interesting and also couldn't put it down. I recommend the Regan Reilly mystery books. The characters to me have come alive. and can hardly wait to readthe next book.
