Book reviews from participants July 20:
Eleventh Moon by Catherine Coulter: The book is an FBI thriller. I enjoyed reading it.
Corsair by Clive Cussler: Another awesome adventure by Cussler.
What your doctor may not tell you about Cholesterol by Stephen Devries: This book opens the mystery about the bigt thing so many people are concerned about. It helpls us to make a more informed decisionabout whether to take cholesterol medicine.
Death of an old master by David Dickinson: Not bad-little drawn out.
The other woman by Eric Jerome Dickey: One quote from the book sums it all up..."Love and hate live so close to each other." and in the end...loving yourself NEEDS to come first!!
Motor Mouth by Janet Evanovich: Entertaining but some inappropriate material.
Rage times Fury by Trustice Gentles: Good book.
Mary, Queen of Scotland and the Isles by Margaret George: At long last, a story that combines history and fiction so artfully I didn't want the book to end. I learned so much more about the Catholic/Protestant impetus behind the major world-changing events of that era. Mary, as Queen and person, lived a fascinating, yet tragic, life with her fatal flaw: that she chose Catholicism.
Traveling Death and Resurrection Show by Ariel Gore: With the lives of the saints as a guidepost, this story of a young woman's spiritual growth is enlightening, altough I found the story of the saints more engaging than the story of the young woman. A good quick read, though.
The other woman by Jane Green: When the mother-in-law is the other woman you can rest assured that this will be a good (do not disturb) read. I didn't realize until close to the end that I had read this book before. It was good then and even better the second time around.
Chelsea, Chelsea, Bang, Bang by Chelsea Handler: Chelsea Handler never stops making me laugh at the riduculousness of her life and family.
