Book reviews from participants Aug 26:
Hearing by John Lescroart: The first 70 pages started off slow and then became more interesting. There are interesting twists and turns.
Brethren by Beverly Lewis: Beverly Lewis is an excellent author. Her stories make me laugh and cry with the characters in her books.
Kitchen Knife Skills by Marianne Lumb: If you are an avid food network fan and want to slice and dice without going to culinary school, well this is your cheap fix. By using the time tested techniques you too can chop an onion quickly, evenly, and painlessly.
Twilight Prisoner by Katherine Marsh: Childish, but interesting. It kept me on the edge, but to a point that was almost amazing.
The Rapids by Carla Neggers: Love this author. Great story line, some romance, lots of action and suspense. Well written.
