If you reside in HPL's service district and don't have a library card, visit the circulation desk at Hackley Library and we can get you set up with a library card!

There will be a special Story Time in our Youth Services department at 10:30am in celebration of this resource fair, with some giveaways for kiddos!

Throughout the day, snacks and light refreshments will be available (while supplies last)!

Each ticket is god for two (2) HPL patrons.

*Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the HPL service desk on the main level.

Be sure to have your HPL library card available when inquiring to pick up a free ticket.

These free tickets are good for the Seussical Jr. production on Thursday, September 8 at 7:30pm at the Frauenthal Theater (ticket holders are asked to arrive at 7:00pm).

Black History Month is around the corner!


Black History Month kicks off on February 1 at Hackley Public Library!

This year we'll have an amazing music performance to begin the celebration, followed by a variety of programs for all to enjoy. 

Additional programs will include an ongoing Scavenger Hunt, a youth/teen Quilt Square Take and Make, a BHM Trivia Contest, an Open Mic Poetry Night, a Sweet Soul Food Dessert Contest, an Upcycled Poetry for Teens event, and a Black Hair Care Clinic!
