Michigan Trails and Greenways. 6:00 PM Tuesday, September 27 Sharon Nunnelee, Executive Director of the West Michigan Trails & Greenways Coalition, will present an overview of the trails and greenways of Michigan. MTGA is “a non-profit organization that shall foster and facilitate the creation of an interconnected statewide system of trails and greenways for recreation, health, transportation, economic development and environmental/cultural preservation purposes.” Their website is: http://www.michigantrails.org/ Free and open to the public. Tech Wednesday -Basic Word Processing 2:30 pm, Wednesday, September 28 Each class runs from 30 – 60 minutes. No registration is required, just show up! Diabetes Review - A FREE diabetes educational seminar. 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 4 Attention People with Diabetes! Whether you have been diagnosed recently with diabetes or have been living with diabetes for years, there are steps you can take to lead a healthier life. Attend Diabetes Review, a free educational program brought to you by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and Great Lakes Medical Supply (GLMS). Diabetes Review is a free one-hour class designed to provide basic education about proper diabetes self-care. The course is conducted by a certified diabetes educator (CDE) and will cover topics to help you better manage your diabetes such as meal planning and portion control, exercise, complications of diabetes, blood glucose testing and new product updates.
