SUMMER READING GAME BEGINS MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2015 REMEMBER--HACKLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY OPENS AT 12 NOON ON MONDAY & TUESDAY If you are registered for the summer reading program and you have read something at your grade level, drop in anytime between noon and 7:30 PM to play the summer reading game (one play per person, per day) and possibly win a prize, enter a raffle, or practice doing a good deed. This game is available every day the library is open through the month of August. This game is also for toddlers who have had stories read to them.

Hiroya Tsukamoto-Guitarist 6:00 pm, Monday, June 15 Japanese guitarist and songwriter Hiroya Tsukamoto takes us on an innovative, impressionistic journey filled with earthy, organic soundscapes that impart a mood of peace and tranquility. Hiroya Tsukamoto is a guitarist and composer from Kyoto, Japan. He began playing banjo when he was thirteen years old. In 2000, he received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music and came to the US. Since then, he has been performing internationally, including several appearances with his group at the Blue Note in New York, and he has released five albums . Hiroya developed a unique acoustic music which is described as "New folkloric music". He recently performed on Japanese National TV. (NHK-TV). "...chops, passion and warmth. EXTREME DUCT TAPE WORKSHOP 2:30 PM FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 2015 Joel Tacey will make it easy for kids of all ages (5 and under will need a parent to help) to create keepable, wearable, shareable duct tape items.
