Book review-Thrice the Brinded Cat Hath Mew'd

photo
Flavia is back!  After a short trip to Canada, Flavia returns to her hometown of Bishop's Lacy to find her father in the hospital and a murdered man in a cottage.
Bradley returns Flavia to her roots in Thrice the Brinded Cat Hath Mew'd, number 8 in the Flavia deLuce series.  If you read the previous book and were disappointed, rest assured that not only is Flavia back in the UK, but Bradley is back on his game.  This book is just as good as the first 6 in the series.
Flavia yet again stumbles on a dead body.  At first she is not sure if it is an accidental death or a murder, but of course, it is murder.  As usual, she must use all her wiles and cunning to figure the mystery out.
This is just the book for people who like their mysteries cozy and the heroines sharp.
