Computer Class-Intro to Computers 10:30 am- 12:00 pm, Saturday, July 15 De'ondra Pentecost will teach computer classes on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Registration is required. This weeks' topic--Intro to Computers:  Intro to computers will offer an introduction to what a computer is and how to use it.  It is designed for beginners with little or no knowledge of computers.  Topics covered will include an explanation of Windows and files, how to turn on a computer, and how to use the mouse.

ALL ABOUT OWLS SATURDAY, JULY 15, 2:00 PM Registration is required. What do you call an owl dressed in armor? A knight owl! Live owls are coming to visit the library.  Although they won't be wearing any armor, you can learn why they make such great predators. Instructors from the Blandford Nature Center will share their expertise and even show us how to dissect owl pellets. Space is limited to 30 participants.

CATAPULT ATTACK! WEDNESDAY, JULY 19, 2:00 PM Plan it, build it, fire it! We'll give you all the supplies you need to build and take home a working catapult--a small one of course.

OZOBOTS SATURDAY, JULY 22, 2:00 PM Discover these minirobots new to the library! They are small but mighty. We'll learn how to program them to do many different tasks from driving forwards to dancing. No robot experience is required!

Summer Movie Night-"Arrival" 5:30 pm, Tuesday July 25 Come to the library to see the movie “Arrival” (A linguist tries to communicate with aliens who have suddenly arrived at various locations on Earth.)  Bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.  The movie runs 116 minutes.
