Computer Class-Excel 10:30 am, Saturday, August 19 De'ondra Pentecost will teach computer classes on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Registration is required. This weeks' topic-Intro to Excel.  Learn the basics of using a spreadsheet, including opening and saving, entering formulas, and making changes.

View the Eclipse 12:30 pm, Monday, August 21 Watch the eclipse starting at 12:30 pm.  We'll have some viewing options to watch the eclipse on our front steps, and we'll be showing a live feed from NASA of the Total Eclipse in our meeting room starting at 12:30 and ending around 3 pm.  The eclipse starts in Muskegon at 12:56 and ends at 3:41 pm.  The maximum coverage will occur at 2:20 pm.

Mark Kahny Trio 6:00 pm, Monday, August 21 The Mark Kahny Trio consists of Mark Kahny on keyboard, Mary Rademacher on vocals and rhythm instruments, and Tim Johnson on drums.  Together they play some of the best jazz and cabaret standards in West Michigan.  Both Mark and Mary are West Michigan Jazz Society Musicians of the Year.  Be prepared to dance! LEGOs 2:00 SATURDAY, AUGUST 26 Beat the heat! Bring the whole family and come into the library for LEGO building fun! The library is cool!

Summer Movie Night-"The Walk" 5:30 pm, Tuesday August 29 Come to the library to see the movie “The Walk” (Tightrope walker Philippe Petit crosses back and forth between the Twin Towers in 1974. Petit works to accomplish this feat while dealing with logistical problems and the concern of his loved ones.)  Bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.  The movie runs 123 minutes.
