Add some color to your beverage!
Join us at HPL to paint a glass tumbler with confetti designs. Use different shades of one color to keep your tumbler consistent, or choose multiple hues to make your colors pop!

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, as space is limited. To register, please call HPL at (231) 722-8011, or register on our online events calendar.

Do you enjoy creative writing? Are you inspired by innovative thoughts and ideas? Become a part of 'Left to Write', HPL’s own Creative Writing Group! Here you can share your own stories, participate in exercises, and meet other creative writers. This group will provide a low key atmosphere for writers of all experiences. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to tell your friends! Bring your own paper, and your favorite pen! Facilitated by Donna Iverson, this bi-monthly group will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, 3:30 to 4:30 PM.

Spark up your creativity and get busy building! We'll put all our Legos out for a relaxed afternoon of creating and inventing.

Self Defense class at HPL! Registration required as space is limited. Class will be August 11, from 3-4:30pm!Self Defense Class

Using his 30 plus years of various martial arts experience Scot Demarest, Chief instructor at Lakeshore Martial Arts, put together a class in self-defense that anyone will be able to use. After teaching you an 8-move-combination, Scot will demonstrate multiple different scenarios where you can use this combination in order to defend yourself. Make sure to wear gym-type attire! Registration required as space is limited.

UFO Flyer! Presentation will take place on Tuesday, August 14, from 6-7:30pm! Dr. Ron PleuneUFO Presentation

Are you curious or interested in UFOs and stories of personal encounters?  Dr. Ron Pleune has been interested in extraterrestrials ever since he began researching the Billy Meier Story in 2015. He will give a presentation discussing the story of Billy Meier’s contact with extraterrestrials, as well as his personal experiences in signaling UFOs. Mark your calendar for this intriguing and insightful program!

De'ondra Pentecost will teach computer classes on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.
