Book reviews from participants Aug 10:

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins:  This was such a FUN, action-packed book!  Its good forkids and teens.  The words just flowed off the page,  I couldn't put it down!

Vineyard Prey by Philip Craig:  Not bad-first time read of this author and I'll order his work again.  Easy story, entertaining.

New Mercies by Sandra Dallas:  Enjoyed this book-one of my favorite authors!

The Lion by Nelson DeMille:  Lots of suspense, excellent story-hard to put down.

You couldn't ignore me if you tried by Susannah Gora:  Slightly fluffy, yet fun, essays on 80's teen movies, their actors, directors, and implications on culture.

Act like a lady, think like a man by Steve Harvey:  Men have to feel like they are needed.  Men are trained to porvide and that's what women look for in a man.  Men show love by professing, providing, and  protecting you.  Very good book, everyone should read.

Backseat Saints by Joshilyn Jackson:  It was good, but not as enjoyable to read as other books by this author, "Gods in Alabama" and "Inbetween Georgia."
