Adult Summer Reading

During the penultimate week of Summer Reading, 16 readers read 63 books, which brings the total for the summer to 1042 books read by 155 readers.

Miracles by Terri Blackstock:  Good book, has two novels and are very good.  It gives you something to think about.

Bones by Jan Burke:  Very good, well written, full of emotion.

Very good, well written, full of emotion.

Princeps Fury by Jim Butcher:  Didn't care for the beginning, but held on and the rest of the book was good action packed.

Small Favor by Jim Butcher:  Good if you like vampire stories.

Invisible Gorilla by Christopher Chabris:  Simply stated and relevant to everyone.  The website links provide a personal connection to the research presented.

Christmas Thief by Mary Higgins Clark:  Good book.  They went through alot of trouble on account of the tree.  Good ending.

Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith:  A true Jane Austin fan will either appreciate it as a cleverly crafted spoof or an abhorrent abomination.
