Staff Picks for March

At our staff meetings we take a few minutes to talk about the books we are reading. This is a list of recent favorites.

STAFF PICKS for March

St. Patrick's Day

On one day each year, everyone feels just a little bit Irish. March 17 is St. Patrick's Day, when people regardless of heritage wear their finest greenery and celebrate like a true Irish lad or lass. Another great way to get into the spirit is by checking out a popular Irish author. Revisit a classic by James Joyce or Oscar Wilde or find a new favorite in contemporary author Frank Delaney. Delaney explores Ireland's 20th century history through his novels, one decade at a time, and his newest book, The Matchmaker of Kenmare, will sweep readers away to the Ireland of the 1940s. This World War II story has enough romance, action and historical detail to keep readers enthralled.
