Which State Deserves to Be the Mitten State? Michigan Or Wisconsin? Vote!:

A brouhaha between Wisconsin and Michigan about which is the mitten state resulted Wednesday in a rhetorical retreat by the Badger state and a contest to decide which state looks more like a mitten.

Michigan Travel, an arm of the Michigan Economic Development Corp., and the Wisconsin Department of Tourism posted Wednesday a contest page — http://www.michigan.org/WhoIsTheRealMittenState/ — where people can vote on which state is really shaped more like a mitten.
