Service interruptions coming to a library near you

Mid October is turning out to be a time of service interruptions here at HPL:

The Lakeland Library Cooperative Online Catalog will be down for maintenance Sunday, October 13, 2013 6:00-9:00 PM. In addition, logging in with your barcode and PIN to use services such as Overdrive, MeLCat, Mel Databases and other locally provided resources will also be temporarily unavailable during that time. Thank you for your patience.

Public Computers at HPL will be unavailable on October 17 and 18 while they are being installed in the new Computer Lab!

Starting Monday, October 21st, Adult Fiction, Nonfiction, Large Print, Audiobooks, CDs, and Magazines will be unavailable for 2-3 days.  After the scaffolding is in place and while work in the main reading room continues some of these items will be accessible by request only.

Although these service interruptions can be frustrating, they will mostly result in better service down the road.   The new computer lab, for instance, will be awesome!  Check out the construction pictures on our Facebook page or on our Flickr page.
