	Pandora's Locks January 26 6:30 pm, Julia Hackley Room Jeff Alexander, formerly a Muskegon Chronicle writer, will be on hand to talk about his book “Pandora’s Locks”, which discusses how the opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway allowed many invasive species to take up residence in the Great Lakes and bordering waters.  For more information call HPL at 231-722-7276.

La'Ron Williams, Storyteller January 30, 2010 2:00 pm Djembe drums, mbira music, and spontaneous song accompany La'Ron's tales from African and African American traditions.  His dramatic skills and audience rapport have made him one of the Midwest's top storytellers.  Says La'Ron, "I always sing.  I always wear traditional African dress.  And I always have a good time."
