Book Review-Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest

I just finished the third book in the Millenium Series, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. (By the way, if you haven't read the series, it is called the Millenium series because the name of the magazine which figures prominently in the plot is Millenium.)

As with the other books, it is fast paced and exciting. I enjoyed it quite a bit, although there were one or two times where the action slowed and I wondered why that particular section was added to the book. The ending was quite satisfying, although I felt that there were many loose ends. Sadly, the author passed away shortly after delivering the manuscript for the third book.

If you, too, have enjoyed reading this series, you might try the Kurt Wallender Series by Henning Mankell. Mankell is also Swedish, and also writes dark, gritty, suspenseful tales.
